Get started with your cloud purchase

  1. Create a cloud site from the Atlassian homepage. The site URL that you use to create it will become your production instance after your trial ends.

  2. Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing. Select your billing account if you have more than one.
As a billing admin, you can see all the details of your cloud subscription and manage your bills, users, and payments.

When you create a site, you start with a Free plan available for up to 10 users (Jira Software, Jira Work Management, Confluence) and three agents (Jira Service Management). If the number of users/agents in your Free plan exceeds this limit, you’ll be automatically upgraded to a Standard plan.

You can upgrade to Standard or Premium at any time from our billing and subscription management page.

If you want to generate a quote and pay before claiming a cloud site, contact us to request a quote.

Moving from a Free to a Standard plan will give you a 14-day trial period. With a Premium plan, you’ll get a 30-day trial. After your trial ends, your plan will shift to a monthly subscription unless canceled.

To renew your subscription each month after your trial period ends, you can choose to add a payment method. To do so:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing. Select your billing account if you have more than one.

  2. Select Payment method from the side navigation.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your payment details.

As of March 2022, all users on the new billing and subscription management experience can only pay for their subscriptions via credit card (Mastercard®, Visa, or American Express). To learn more about payment options, see Supported payment methods
