Understand your billing and sold-to address

Your invoice contains two addresses:

  • Billing address: This could be your company address or your billing department’s address. You’ll be asked to enter it when you try or buy an Atlassian cloud product for the first time.

  • Sold-to address: Similar to a shipping address, this is the address of your billing department or the address where you’re using Atlassian cloud products. In most cases, it will be the same as your billing address. If they’re the same, select Use my billing address.

We need your sold-to address to apply the correct taxes to your purchases.

Change your billing address or sold-to address

To change your billing address or sold-to address:

  1. Go to admin.atlassian.com/billing. Select your billing account if you have more than one.

  2. Go to Addresses from the side navigation.

  3. Find the address you’re looking to update and select Edit address.

  4. Edit your address and select Save.

What happens when you update your billing address?

When you make changes to your current billing address, all subscriptions that use this address also get updated. Your future invoices will reflect the updated billing address.

What happens when you update your sold-to address?

When you make changes to your current sold-to address, all subscriptions that use this address also get updated. Going forward, the amount of tax applied to your upcoming payments will be based on the updated sold-to address.
